Rotn. OKUNOLA AKEEM ABIDEMI(Phf) was born more than
four decades ago into the family of Alhaji Suleiman O. Okunola and
Deconess Juliana O. Okunola in Ibadan
Oyo state. He started his primary education at IMG primary school Apata ganga
Ibadan Oyo state where he obtained his primary school certificate. He proceeded
to St. Michael African Church Grammar School owode estate Ibadan and after
spending a year he was admitted to Command secondary school bode igbo Ibadan
and obtained the ordinary level West African School Certificate(WASC)in 1989.
He obtained the National Certificate of Education in
Mathematics/social studies from the then Ondo state college of education Ikere
ekiti.
A graduate of University of Ilorin, he bagged a
Bachelor of science education (Bsc. Ed) Mathematics. He proceeded to have a
masters degree in Business Administration from Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma .
He also had a diploma certificate in computer studies.
Akeem had worked as a teacher and principal of
school. He joined the National Examinations Council (NECO) in 2005 where he is
currently a Chief Statistician. With his experience as a teacher, principal and
examination administrator he is an author of two books, Complete solution to
common entrance examinations volume 1 and volume 2, two other unpublished books
are on the way.
Rotarian Akeem joined Rotary club of Ilorin in 2014
where he has served in different capacities. He had chaired various committees,
the club’s secretary in 2017/18 and now the president of the club.
Rotarian Akeem has attended various Rotary trainings
and district functions.
He loves traveling and watching football
